The Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Cologne seeks to appoint, as of April 2015, a
Full Professor in Economic History (W3)
Candidates should have an excellent international research record in the area of economic history. The teaching responsibilities cover undergraduate and graduate programs in which candidates impart comprehensively economic and business historical knowledge as well as the history of economic thought to students of economics and social sciences. Cooperation with the Max-Planck-Institute for the Study of Societies is an option supported by the faculty. The qualifications required are a university and PhD degree and excellent academic achievements and teaching abilities (§ 36 HG NRW).
