Marie Curie ITN Experienced Researcher (ER) Fellowship

Applications are invited for an Experienced Researcher (ER) Fellowship at the University of Oxford funded as part of the Marie Curie Initial Training Network MACROHIST (Macroeconomics and Financial History). The fellowship is tenable for up to twelve months from the appointment date of 1 September 2015.

The broad aim of MACROHIST is to improve our understanding of how the financial system works and how to design appropriate policies to respond to economic and financial crises. To that effect it provides an interdisciplinary training network, based on the facilities, activities, and courses offered by the institutions, including:

• Formal courses and seminars in economics and economic history available in each of the host institutions
• Mentoring – a mentor will be identified who will be responsible for integrating them into the network
• Events organized for all the nodes of the network – conferences, summer schools and workshops
• Secondments/ internships in the private and public partners of the network

Additionally the ER will be assigned to contribute to the project entitled ‘The relation between financial globalisation/development and growth’.
